Where are you located?

My office is located in Orem, close to Provo Canyon.

Are you taking new clients and what is your schedule?

Yes I am taking new clients. I typically see clients Monday – Thursday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm.

Is online therapy available?

I prefer in-person, but online works great.

Do you take insurance?

Yes. However, please know that working outside of insurance on a fee-for-service is much simpler and keeps your confidentiality protected.

I currently provide services on the following panels: United Behavioral Health, Regence - Blue Cross/Blue Shield, PEHP, DMBA, Aetna and EMI.

As always, if you insist on using insurance, check with your network to see if I am a provider on your specific plan. If your insurance does not reimburse, counseling will be disrupted until payments are received. I love what I do, but I can’t work for free.

What are your fees?

Out of pocket, no insurance is $150/hour for individual sessions; $180 for marital therapy.

I take payment in cash, Venmo and card.

What age ranges do you work with?

11 years-old and up.

Do you have training in EMDR?

I do not have training in EMDR, however, I utilize HMR (Holographic Memory Resolution). Research and anecdotal evidence suggest that HMR is just as effective as any other treatment for trauma. It tends to be more efficient and less invasive than EMDR.

WHat is your training and background?

I earned my Bachelor’s degree at Brigham Young University and my Master’s degree at the University of San Diego.

After completing my master’s degree at the University of San Diego, I worked at an acute crisis facility. Some clients were diagnosed with schizophrenia, borderline personality disorder, depression, OCD, and just about everything else.

I’ve worked at University counseling centers and with students for school districts in North Hollywood and San Diego. I’ve also worked with young men in a treatment facility focusing on sexual perpetrators, many of whom also had drug abuse histories.

As mentioned on the About Page, I received training in HMR or Holographic Memory Resolution from developer Brent Baum.

I have received training from Sue Johnson for Emotionally Focused Therapy for couples… and hypnosis training from Michael Yapko, Marissa Peer, and Karl Smith. I strongly encourage you to take advantage of my training and experience in hypnotherapy.
